Charlottenburg Palace is the largest and most impressive palace in Berlin, Germany. Built as a summer residence for Prussian mayor Friedrich III, the baroque structure was constructed in 1695 and is now a World Heritage Site. Inside the palace you can explore the lavish interiors, as well as the living quarters, gardens and gardens of the Royal Family. Visit the Great Hall, the domed Cuvilliés Theater, the Porcelain Room, and a stunning collection of paintings by Old Masters. If you are lucky, you might even catch a classical music concert. In summer the gardens are full of blooming flowers and you can take a stroll through the large Park Charlottenburg. Admission is free to the surrounding gardens.
