Chapman’s Peak Drive (also known as Chapman’s Peak or Chappies) is a 9 km stretch of scenic road on the Atlantic Coast of Cape Town, South Africa. It runs between Hout Bay and Noordhoek, offering breathtaking views over Noordhoek Valley, Hout Bay and the Twelve Apostles mountain range. The road was first constructed in 1922 and is currently one of the most picturesque and scenic drives south of the equator. Along the way, you’ll get to experience steep bends, rocky outcrops and a spectacularly winding road which offers stunning views of the ocean and stretches of sand. This route is a popular spot for hikers, cyclists, motorbike riders and those who just want to take in the scenery.
