
Chapelle Saint Tugen is a 10th century church in Primelin, France. It is a reminder of the bond between earth and sea, built by sailors to express their gratitude for a peaceful crossing.The style of the chapel follows a Romanesque style with a gabled roof and ribbed arches. Inside the chapel you can find an octagonal baptismal font and a stone altar. The church stands on an organically curved mound that rises up from the sea. The mound is encircled by a wall and two chapels facing the sea. It is surrounded by an apple orchard, adding a special feeling of tranquility to the site. Other attractions include a nave, a choir and a gallery, as well as stone benches, a wooden cross and iron railing.
