Cavall Bernat is an interesting mountain located in the municipality of Llaurí in the region of Valencia, Spain. It is 590m tall, making it one of the highest points in the municipality. Its top is a flat plateau offering stunning views of the surrounding area. It is surrounded by almond and olive groves, and its slopes are covered by Mediterranean scrub. The area is an important tourist destination, as it is close to the beautiful Mediterranean sea and many other attractions. On the summit of the mountain, hikers can find a Hermitage (Santa Lucia), believed to have been built in the 16th century. It is well known for its fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea and is considered to be a great spot for bird watching. The mountain is easily accessible by car, and there are plenty of parking spots at its base.

This place is located in the municipality of Alcira, it can be accessed by car to the parking lot of the Murta natural area, from there we will take the Creu del Cardenal route on foot, the road is very good, it is almost entirely wide until the final section that becomes a path, the difficulty is easy. In the title it is called cavall bernat but from Alcira not to be confused with that of cocentaina, another from the same province.
