
The Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta (Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary) is a Roman Catholic cathedral in the Tuscan city of Urbino, Italy. It was built in the 15th century over the existing Romanesque church of the same name and remains one of the most important historical buildings in the city. Constructed in a late-Gothic style, the church features an impressive rose window, detailed stone facades, and impressive 16th-century frescoes. Inside, visitors can admire a delightful 18th-century organ, as well as a painting by Andrea Sermattei.
