The Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Rouen is an impressive Gothic-style cathedral located in the centre of Rouen, Normandy, France. It is the burial site of Richard the Lionheart and dates back to the 12th century. Visitors to the cathedral can admire the majestic spire, towering at about 151 meters high, as well as its vibrant stained glass windows, which illustrate stories from the Old and New Testaments. Inside are several chapels, with some containing important sculptures of that period. There is also an impressive organ by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll, and the tallest 18th-century astronomical clock in France. Visitors can take the elevator to the top of the spire, enabling them to have a panoramic view of the city.
