The Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption is a historic Catholic church in Covington, United States. This stunning gothic cathedral was built between 1870 and 1875, and it is a very interesting sight to behold. Famous for its various stained glass windows, it was the first cathedral in the USA to be elevated to the rank of a basilica by Pope John Paul II.
