Catedral de León is one of the most outstanding monuments of Spanish architecture in the medieval period. It is located in the historic city of León in the region of Castilla y León, one of the regions of northern Spain. It has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The Catedral de León is a Gothic style building of astonishing beauty. It consists of three naves, each 35 meters high, and its main façade has three different flamboyant porches. Inside, it has a large chapel and altars elaborately decorated with gold, as well as a crypt with tombs of kings and bishops in the lower part of the building. The Catedral de León is home to an important artistic and cultural heritage. It contains sculptures and frescoes of the highest quality, made in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The museum located in the hollow of the cathedral allows visitors to learn more about its history and significance.
