The Catedral de la Encarnación de Málaga is a beautifully ornate Renaissance style Roman Catholic church located in Málaga, Spain. It is located to the east of the Alcazaba, the city's old fortress, in the vibrant center of Málaga. It was finished in 1782 and was created in the Renaissance style and includes interesting features such as a cylindrical bell tower, and a series of peach-toned domes. This impressive cathedral is a great spot to visit to truly experience the culture of Málaga. There are also plenty of nearby shops and cafes to rest, take a break and enjoy a cup of coffee or a bite to eat. Be sure to observe the detailed stonework adorning the structure, as well as the intricate carvings of religious figures on the exterior of the building.
