Catedral da Sé de São Paulo is the main church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of São Paulo, Brazil. It is located in the heart of the historical district of the city. The church was built over a period of 30 years, from 1913 to 1954, by Italian architect Attilio Muggio. Its neoclassical style is built with reinforced concrete, steel, marble and granite from São Miguel dos Campos. It has two bells and a 136-meter high clock tower from which you can admire breathtaking views of all of São Paulo. Inside the cathedral, you can admire the magnificent stained glass windows, luxurious marble floors, and intricate ceiling frescos. The church also hosts religious events and beautiful regular masses. Moreover, the cathedral is a popular spot among photographers looking to capture the spirit of the city and its people.
