Castle Hohenwerfen is an 11th century rock fortress located high above the Austrian village of Pfarrwerfen. It has been used in many movies due to its majestic location, including The Great Escape and Where Eagles Dare. Visitors can explore the fortress and learn about its history at the adjoining museum. Other highlights include the falconry show and stunning views of the area from the battlements.
