Castillo de Almansa is a medieval fortress situated in the town of Almansa, in the province of Albacete, Spain. The castle, situated atop an important hill, dates back to the early 14th century and is today a national monument and a popular tourist destination. Visitors to the castle can explore its beautiful architecture, which is composed of three parts: the castle, the walls, and the tower of El Doncel. Visitors will also find a variety of ruins, such as a Roman theater and a deserted hospital, as well as the remains of a barbican and the keep. It's important to note that the entire castle area is surrounded by a thick wall, and although a portion of the wall has been damaged, the rest of it still stands in an impressive display of defensive architecture.
