Castello di Rorà is a medieval castle in Costigliole d'Asti, Italy. It was built in the early 12th century as a defensive outpost for the noble House of Rorà. Situated on a hilltop, the castle consists of a main tower with three side towers, encompassed by a wall with multiple offshoots. With a moat dug into the mountain it is one of the best-preserved medieval fortresses in the region. From the castle walls, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the Asti vineyards. Inside the castle, visitors can explore the courtyard, decorated with two statues, the entrance staircase with its carved stone front, the chapel and an ancient cistern dating back to the 13th century. The building next to the main tower is home to a museum dedicated to the Paleolithic period, showcasing various stone tools found in the area.
