Castell de Bellver is a Gothic-style castle in Palma, Mallorca, Spain. Built in the 13th century, it is the only round castle still standing on the Iberian Peninsula. The Castle consists of three floors, the first providing a beautiful terrace with spectacular views of Palma Bay, the second displaying a number of ornate tapestries, weapons, and gold-plated coats of arms, and the third including the chapel of Saint Anthony of Padua. Castell de Bellver also offers stunning views of the islands of Cabrera, Dragonera, and Tramuntana mountain range. It is the site of a variety of events, including fairs, parades, concerts and open-air theatre performances. The Castle is open to visitors throughout the year and offers guided tours of its incredible historical architecture.
