Cascadas del Rio Colorado is a stunning set of cascades and waterfalls located on the border between Cafayate and Cachi in northwestern Argentina. Cascadas del Rio Colorado is known for the intense blue color of its waters and its towering mountains, acres of vineyards and deep canyons. Visitors have the opportunity to hike to the falls or take a rappelling adventure. Kayaking and tubing is also available on the Rio Colorado, while a suspension bridge offers a view of all the cascades. Visiting the area offers a unique and breathtaking experience, with some areas offering overhangs up to 15 meters high. The sound of the cascades and the powerful waterfalls is harmoniously integrated with the view of the Los Cardones National Park.
