Located in the municipality of Sant Bartomeu de la Quadra, Cascada De Molins De Rei is one of the most majestic and alluring waterfalls in Spain. It is composed of multiple cascades on Rayo river, which fall from a height of 20 meters, making it the longest waterfall in Spain with a length of almost 800 meters. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and a beautiful microclimate, and a variety of hiking trails offer you spectacular views of the cascades. To access it, you can walk from Molins De Rei - a small village located 8 km from Sant Bartomeu de la Quadra - and follow the signs to this natural paradise. There’s a picnic area, as well as several nearby attractions, including a monastery from the 18th century and a large natural park. As Cascada De Molins De Rei is located in a beautiful rural landscape, you can also savor traditional Catalan cuisine in the nearby villages.
