📍 Mexico
Casa de los Azulejos, located in the heart of Ciudad de México, is a stunning example of colonial architecture known for its intricate façade adorned with blue and white Talavera tiles from Puebla. Originally built in the 16th century, the building was transformed in the 18th century by the Counts of Orizaba, who lavishly decorated it, giving it the nickname "House of Tiles."

Inside, visitors can marvel at the beautiful courtyard and its opulent staircase, featuring a mural by the famous Mexican artist José Clemente Orozco. Today, the building houses a Sanborns restaurant, allowing guests to dine in an atmosphere steeped in history. Casa de los Azulejos is not only a feast for the eyes but also a cultural landmark that captures the blend of indigenous and Spanish influences in Mexico.
