Casa de la Moneda Residence Sevilla is an accommodation set within Seville’s historic Casa de la Moneda quarter, between the Cathedral and the Guadalquivir, close to the Torre del Oro and the former royal shipyards. The district takes its name from the Royal Mint established under Philip II, where precious metals arriving through Seville’s American trade were turned into coinage. Although the old industrial complex has been fragmented and adapted over centuries, its network of narrow lanes and courtyards still conveys the enclosed character of the original precinct. For photographs, the setting is defined by warm stucco and brick, wrought-iron balconies, tiled details, deep doorway shadows and sudden views toward Seville’s monumental skyline—a compact visual link between the city’s river trade, imperial history and present-day residential life.
