Cargadero de Dícido is a stunning lookout point which overlooks the Cantabrian Gulf in the coastal town of Castro-Urdiales in the region of Cantabria, Spain. This lookout point is located right at the tip of the old industrial port of Dícido, offering practitioners of photography stunning views with the port's industrial environment as its backdrop. It also extends the views to the much of the town's coastline, making it an ideal place for birdwatching and general sightseeing. To reach the lookout point, one must walk over a 200-meter-long disused pier, which is also known as the Iron Pier, that was first built in the late 1880s. During sunset, the pier comes alive with glimmering colors, allowing for some beautiful shots. All throughout the pier, there is plenty of marine life and migratory birds, providing plenty of surprises for photographers.
