Capri Port
📍 Italy
Capri Port is an impressive sight on the beautiful Italian island of Capri. The pastel ochre colored port is made up of two landing points with an aedicule between them, known as ‘The Pulpito’. Local legend has it that the port was built in the 16th-century by Michelangelo’s training architect, vacciaro, while many believe the port originally began life as a Roman operative anchor point. Visitors to the port are treated to a variety of sightseeing tours and activities including, underneath the sea submarine treks, boat trips to Faraglioni, Grotta Azzurra, Santa Maria Beach and more. The port is also home to the stunning Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, the House of Tiberius museum and the Cecio Chic Ratty Liquorov – an enchanting apparel and accessories shop.
