The Cappella Ducale di San Liborio is an 18th century parish chapel located in Colorno, Italy. Built by architect Bernardino Maccarinelli in 1783, the chapel contains a number of incredible Baroque inspired artworks. Located in the center of the church is an impressive altarpiece created by Pompeo Ascoli in 1734. Other noteworthy works in the chapel include a large niche containing an image of the Virgin Mary with Jesus, a set of activities painted in the ceilings and cupolas, and two smaller sculptures located in the left hand corner of the chapel. The chapel still functions today, and the interior provides an interesting insight into the Italian Baroque period.
