Cappella Colleoni is a Renaissance-style chapel in Bergamo, Italy. It was designed by Giovanni Antonio Amadeo and built between 1472 and 1476. Dedicated to St. Alexander, it houses the tombs of Bartolomeo Colleoni and his daughter Medea. The chapel is notable for its finely carved external marble façades, which are marked by four intricately decorated cornerpieces and four scenes representing the martyrdoms of saints. Inside, the walls are frescoed with scenes from the Old Testament and the Myth of the origins of the Colleoni family. Visitors should also look out for the elaborate bronze statue of Colleoni as a commander, which stands in the center of the chapel.
