📍 Spain
Capilla Real, or Catedral de Sevilla, is one of the most important religious monuments in Spain. It was built in the 15th century and its style is Gothic. Inside the cathedral you can find the tombs of Christopher Columbus and Ferdinand III. The main altarpiece is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. In addition, it houses the remains of Saint Isidore, patron of the city. Its real name is Catedral de Santa María de la Sede de Sevilla, and it is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. The interior is full of amazing details such as its stained-glass windows, its Baroque and Renaissance style altars, its Golden Chapel, the Sacristy and much more. You can also find its famous clock, the Giralda Tower, which was once the minaret of a mosque. Visiting the Capilla Real is truly an unforgettable experience.
