Capilla de San Segundo, located in the beautiful city of Ávila, Spain, is a small chapel with an incredible interior that reflects local Romanesque and Gothic traditions. The chapel was originally built in the 12th century, possibly even earlier, and houses several important pieces of artwork created by local Renaissance and Baroque artists. The most striking feature of the chapel is its magnificent frescoes, made in the 15th century in the Romanesque style, which demonstrate the impressive skill of the local painters. Other interesting features include the choir vault and the stained-glass windows which were made at the very end of the 17th century. It is an amazing sight, not to be missed during a visit to the city!
