Capela de São Benedito is a chapel located in Tamandaré, Pernambuco, Brazil. This chapel was built in 1750 and it stands as a fine example of Baroque architecture. Inside the chapel, visitors can see stunning stonework, wood and tile decorations and beautiful paintings from the 18th century. The chapel is also home to a statue of St. Benedict of Palermo. From the outside, visitors can view an ornate facade and an impressive bell tower. Tamandaré’s Capela de São Benedito is an interesting and unique architectural monument, definitely worth a visit.
