Canal Charles-Quint is a waterway located in Dole, France. It is said to have been built in 1530 and is a symbol of the city. In 1989 it was named after the Emperor Charles V, also known as Charles-Quint. It is the perfect place to take a leisurely stroll, allowing you to enjoy the natural views and picturesque town of Dole. Boats are allowed to move along the canal, and it is quite common to find a couple of swans floating quietly along the banks of the canal. The path also allows you to explore some of the Parks located between the banks of the canal, allowing you to witness some of the breathtaking views this place has to offer.
