Campana Dune Beach lies along the Chia coast at Domus de Maria, on southern Sardinia’s Gulf of Cagliari. Its defining feature is the belt of pale, wind-shaped dunes separating a broad sandy shore from Mediterranean scrub and juniper. The open bay reveals striking bands of clear turquoise and deeper blue water, while dune ridges add layers, texture and a strong sense of scale to coastal photographs. The beach forms part of Chia’s wider sequence of coves, lagoons and sandy bays; marked paths help protect the fragile dune vegetation, which should not be crossed or disturbed.
