Calle de los Suspiros and Casco Viejo de Colonia del Sacramento in Colonia Del Sacramento, Uruguay, offer a unique view into the city's historic colonial architecture. It's the only surviving colonial city in Uruguay and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city center is filled with cobblestone streets and old buildings, the most popular being the cafes, restaurants, and small shops that line Calle de los Suspiros. The old city walls, with the famous Cerro de los Suspiros, provide a stunning backdrop to the old city. Casco Viejo offers a range of activities too, including scenic boat rides and horse-riding.
