Caletta Sant’Elia is a compact rocky inlet in the seaside hamlet of Sant’Elia, part of Santa Flavia on Sicily’s Tyrrhenian coast, east of Palermo. Houses, terraces and low stone edges press close to the water, giving the cove the intimate scale of a natural harbor rather than a broad beach. Its recognizable view combines clear blue-green water, pale rock and the layered shoreline around Capo Zafferano. Small boats, swimmers and reflections animate the sheltered basin, while the dense waterfront buildings provide a distinctly lived-in Sicilian coastal setting.
