Cala Macarelleta is a small cove on Menorca’s southern coast, near La Serpentona and immediately west of the larger Cala Macarella. Pale limestone cliffs and pine-covered slopes enclose a narrow crescent of white sand, while the shallow, sheltered water often shows vivid turquoise tones over the sandy seabed. Its most recognizable view is from the elevated footpath linking the two coves, where the beach, rock walls, and open Mediterranean align in a compact composition. Macarelleta is reached on foot, and the connecting trail includes uneven rocky sections and steps, so access is more demanding than the beach’s tranquil appearance suggests.
