Burney Falls is a waterfall in Burney, California, USA. It is part of McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park and is the centerpiece of the park. The 129-foot-high falls are a breathtaking sight and are renowned for the mist that surrounds them. The falls are formed by water cascading over a cliff of volcanic rock. The spring-fed water cascades down through a narrow chute, creating a beautiful waterfall. The falls have a small pool at their base and a small stream which then flows into Lake Britton. There are also several hiking trails in the area, providing visitors with plenty of opportunities to explore the surrounding area.
