Burg Desenberg is a 11th century fort located in Warburg, Germany. This castle is built high up on a hill overlooking the surrounding landscape, offering excellent views. There are two great walls with towers, one surrounding the castle and one that extends further down into the valley. Inside the castle walls, there is a deep dry moat, an upper courtyard, and a grand gatehouse. Visitors can explore the extensive grounds, and the extensive dungeon complex. There is also a chapel and ruins in the court of the castle's inner courtyard.
