
Burg Dattenfeld is a 13th century castle complex near Windeck, Germany. It is open to visitors each summer and hosts various activities like concerts and exhibitions. The castle complex consists of the main castle, several outbuildings, a chapel and even a palas with a gothic ridge turret. It is a nice place to go on a hike and explore the ruins of the castle. In the castle, you will find a collection of ancient weapons, armor and artifacts that have been preserved. The chapel is also open for visitors, permitting awe-inspiring views from the observation platform. The castle also has a restaurant and gift shop. The area offers lovely views and trails for those wanting to explore the surrounding forests.
