๐ From The Max Family Garden, United States
Brooklyn Bridge links the New York City boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn over the East River and is one of the most iconic landmarks in NYC. Built between 1869 and 1883, it is also one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States. The main span is 1595.5ft, making it one of the longest suspension bridges in the world. The Brooklyn Bridge Pedestrian Walkway is a great way to enjoy the view of the river and stunning skyline. It is the most spectacular at twilight when the monuments surrounding it such as the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, and One World Trade Center are lit up and reflected on the river's surface. The bridge is excellent for motorist, cyclists, and walkers alike. A perfect spot to take in the atmosphere and breathtaking views is the DUMBO (Down Under The Manhattan Bridge Overpass) area. Here you can enjoy some of the most beautiful views of the city's skyline, the statue of Liberty, and the river. It's also a great spot for photos. There are plenty of artists and vendors around too to make your visit even more enjoyable.
