📍 From بزرگراه حکیم / Hakim Expressway, Iran
Milad Tower is Tehran’s 435-metre telecommunications and observation tower, rising in the city’s northwest and visible across much of the Iranian capital. Completed in the 2000s, it has become a defining feature of Tehran’s modern skyline: a tapering concrete shaft supports a broad, multi-level head crowned by a slender antenna mast. From its public observation levels, the city spreads across a vast plain toward the Alborz Mountains, revealing the dramatic meeting of dense urban development and rugged northern peaks. Ground-level photographs emphasize the contrast between the narrow shaft and expansive pod, while after dark, architectural lighting turns the tower into a prominent landmark above the surrounding complex. Access to the upper public levels requires a ticket.
