Briksdalsbreen is one of Norway's most spectacular glacial valleys, located in the municipality of Stranda in the Fjord Norway region. This incredible place is formed by the Briksdalsbreen glacier and its meltwater that flows through the glacial lake to the famous Briksdalsbreen waterfall. The area can be explored easily by foot, via the various well-marked trails, or by taking a boat out to the glacier arm. Once there, you can admire the incredible views of the rugged mountains, blue glacial waters, and towering ice walls, as well as take a dip in the freshwater lake. The valley is also home to a variety of wildlife such as reindeer and mountain goats. If you're lucky, you may even spot some arctic foxes and eagles during your visit. Briksdalsbreen is an unforgettable place for nature and outdoor enthusiasts, with plenty of opportunities for hikers, birdwatchers and wildlife photographers.
