Briksdalsbreen is one of the most popular and easily accessible glaciers in Norway, located in the stunning northern region of Briksdalsbre. The glacier is part of the mighty Jostedalsbreen glacier, the largest glacier in continental Europe. It's a great spot for outdoor activities, like ice climbing, glacier walking, walking along the glaciers edge and more. There is also a two-hour easy round-trip hike from the parking lot that leads directly to the glacier. The hike up can be a bit of a challenge, but the view from the summit are absolutely breathtaking. The glacier also provides a perfect place for some awe-inspiring photos, with its looming blue-gray ice walls and spectacular surroundings.
