Bridal Veil Falls is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the North Island of New Zealand. Located at Makomako in the Waikato region, it stands at an altitude of 60 metres, with a width of 20 metres, and the plunge pool at the bottom is ideal for swimming. The scenery is made up of lush native bush, winding rivers and a stunning vertical volcanic column, with the falls itself being spectacularly powerful at times.
