Brama Młyńska, also known as Brama Garbarska, is a medieval brick gateway in the former Teutonic castle precinct in central Toruń. Its names—Mill Gate and Tanners’ Gate—recall the mills and crafts that formed part of the city’s working landscape. The gateway belongs to the castle’s surviving architectural setting, alongside the ruins that mark the Teutonic Order’s former seat in Toruń. Its pointed arch frames the passage beyond, while weathered red brick gives the structure a strong Gothic character. Close views emphasize the layered masonry; wider compositions connect the gate with the surrounding historic streets and castle remains.
