Bossolasco is a small town with a population of less than 1600, located in the Italian province of Cuneo in the northwest Piedmont region. Despite its small size, the village gives a great insight into the traditional Italian lifestyle while offering spectacular views of the nearby region thanks to its location atop a hill. The old castle is a must-see, with its walls dating back to the Middle Ages and watching the sunset from it can be truly enchanting. Along with the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, the village also houses a few interesting local landmarks such as the Roman Catholic Church of St. Lucia and the historic chateau of Boscaccio. Nature lovers can enjoy a pleasant walk around Bossolasco, visit the waterfalls, or take a relaxing stroll along the banks of the river, passing vineyards and occasionally spotting a deer or a hare. Finally, don’t forget to fill up your coolers with Bossolasco’s famous honey and cheese.
