The Borinbizcarra Park (Parque Borinbizcarra) is a magnificent green space in the heart of Vitoria-Gasteiz, the capital of the Basque Country in Spain. Located close to the city center, this tranquil park offers calming respite and beautiful scenery to visitors.

Spanning around 11 hectares and including a number of wooded areas, formal gardens, ponds and walking paths, the park is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. The expansive grassy parklands are ideal for picnics and birdwatching, as many species of birds are known to inhabit the park. Visitors can admire a number of statues, including the majestic "Cathedral of Trees", a group of cypress trees planted in a circle around a stone cross. The Heritage Gardens, found in the northwest section of the park, feature geometric and artistic flowerbeds with a variety of plants and imaginative arrangements. For those looking for something a bit different, the Japanese Garden, complete with a bamboo grove and traditional Japanese garden furniture, is one of the park's highlights. The nearby Municipal Library, revealed after an extensive renovation in 2020, has a lovely terrace with beautiful views of the park's impressive fountain, cascading fountain and ornamental lake. The park also offers excellent opportunities for sports, with a children's playground, bike paths and public gyms. Whether you're a visitor looking to enjoy tranquil gardens and expansive green spaces, or an athlete looking for a place to workout, the Borinbizcarra Park has something for everyone!
