Bomburuella Waterfall

The Bomburu Ella Waterfall is located in the Central Province of Sri Lanka and is a majestic waterfall situated within the Nuwara Eliya district. It is part of Kothmale forest reserve and can be reached by taking a short hike from the Bambarabotuwa Village or from the bus stop in Bambarambotuwa. The waterfall has a spectacular view-point with several cascades and a plunge pool at the bottom and is one of the more impressive waterfalls of the Central Province of Sri Lanka. Swimming and camping are also permitted at the fall. The surrounding forest provides a peaceful setting, with plenty of wildlife, birds, butterflies and other marvels of nature. Nature lovers will especially appreciate the refreshing atmosphere and spectacular views the waterfall has to offer.
