The Bode Museum is a museum located on the Northern tip of the Museum Island in Berlin, Germany. Built in the late 19th century, the Bode Museum is home to a large collection of sculptures, Byzantine art, and coins and medals. The museum is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Museum Island, and it is one of the many unique attractions in Berlin. Inside the museum, visitors can admire works of art from the 13th to the 18th centuries, including works from the Italian Renaissance, the German Baroque period, and classical Antiquity. The museum also features a permanent display of Renaissance sculpture from the 12th century, as well as special exhibitions that are held throughout the year. Around the exterior of the museum, visitors will find an array of exquisite architectural details, including some ornamental sculptures that grace the premises. There is an admission fee for visitors to the Bode Museum, and it is open Tuesday - Sunday from 10am - 6pm.
