Bodø Port, in Vestbyen, Norway, is a commercial port situated at the shore of the vast and deep waters of the Saltenfjord. The harbor itself is situated in a protected natural bay and the waterfront is surrounded by the Vestbyen district of the city. The port is an integral part of the local economy and serves many types of craft, from smaller passenger ships to commercial fishing vessels. At the western entrance to the port stands the historic 19th century lighthouse and guard tower, offering beautiful views of the bay.
