Bobst library is an iconic New York site located in the heart of Washington Square Park and NYU. The library opened in 1973, and is an 11-story post-modern building of glass and granite windows. It is one of the largest academic libraries in the US and is open to the public as well as university students. Inside the library, visitors can find quiet study space, computer labs, and group project areas. There are also art galleries and a grand reading room, which is lit by spectacular gold-coated light fixtures. Bobst library is the perfect place to discover books, browse the latest magazines and newspapers, work on research projects, or relax in one of the comfortable study chairs. The library also hosts many events and conferences, making it a great place to explore and learn.
