The Board of Trade Vault in Chicago is a remnant of the 1893 World’s Fair - one of the most spectacular gatherings the United States has ever seen. Originally designed to store the fair's fine art collection, the Board of Trade Vault is now the only remaining structure from the fair. Located at the corner of South Michigan Avenue and Congress Parkway, this domed building is now one of the few remnants of the "White City" that was the site of the 1893 Fair. Today, the Vault houses a variety of local memorabilia and artifacts detailing the history of Chicago and the World's Fair. It is one of the most iconic structures in the city, and its unique architecture captivates both visitors and photographers. Visitors can take a self-guided tour inside the Vault to learn more about its fascinating history.
