The Blue Hole is a crater in St. Lawrence, Malta that is both a popular diving spot and tourist attraction. It's an impressive site, measuring nearly 70 m in diameter and reaching depths of around 50 m. It is lined with limestone cliffs around which visitors can dive into the ironically blue-hued water. From above the surface, divers can explore the different features of the underwater landscape, and its surrounding rocks and coral gardens teeming with sea life. While underwater, divers can discover a variety of marine species including eels, stingrays, octopi, and sea turtles. Besides diving, visitors can also take a boat trip around the Blue Hole, taking in its stunning beauty and wildlife from the comfort of the boat.
