Bivacco Locatelli Milani Scaioli is a mountain refuge located at 2104m of the mountain range of Grigne in the Lombardy province of Bellabio, Italy. It was built in 1977 and was used by the eponymous Local Mountain Rescue Corps. It overlooks the lake of Garlate, which provides an amazing view of the Lombardy region during the clear winter days. It is perfect for a peaceful and tranquil stay on high altitudes and can be reached by car or by a few hours of hiking from Bellabio. It provides some basic accommodation for up to 12 people and a fireplace to enjoy the evenings. Bird-watching and wild animals can be seen in the dense beech forests of the area. It is the perfect place for a remote getaway and to enjoy the green velvet mountain slopes of the Lombard area.
