Built in 1660 in memory of Dilras Banu Begum, the wife of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, the structure is composed of marbles, mosaic and intricate calligraphic carvings. The massive dome atop the structure is surrounded by four smaller one and the entrance is framed with two small minarets. The courtyards are decorated with carved teak and iron latticework and the interior walls are painted with floral designs.
