Berlin Hauptbahnhof is a railway station located in Berlin, Germany. It consists of two main parts; the northern part, above ground, and a light rail station in the southern part below ground. It is one of the busiest railway hubs in Europe, connecting the local S-Bahn, regional railway, long-distance and national services, as well as for the InterCityExpress trains. The main building was built in 1906, and it is one of the largest train stations in Europe, with a total length of more than 320 meters. It also houses three shopping centers, a hotel, a post office, restaurants, as well as offices. The station is conveniently located in the center of Berlin and well connected with the rest of the city. It allows travelers to explore the fascinating sights of one of Europe’s most renowned capitals.
